La presente convocatoria tiene por finalidad la realización (guion, grabación y edición) de un cortometraje en la provincia de Almería por parte de un equipo de trabajo, con rapidez y espontaneidad, demostrando talento y creatividad.
Podrán participar residentes o nacidos en la provincia de Almería, mayores de edad y que hayan dirigido una obra audiovisual. NO PODRÁN PARTICIPAR EQUIPOS QUE HAYAN OBTENIDO EL PRIMER PREMIO EN CUALQUIERA DE LAS TRES EDICIONES ANTERIORES DE ESTA ACTIVIDAD, salvo que el director sea una persona distinta a las de las ediciones en las que obtuvo el premio.
La inscripción será realizada por la persona que haya dirigido la obra audiovisual. Dicha inscripción se puede realizar únicamente a través de un formulario online y habrá que acompañar una obra audiovisual en soporte digital en streaming o mediante plataforma para envío de ficheros, o entregando, antes de las 14 horas del 10 de octubre de 2025, dvd o soporte digital similar en la 1ª planta de la sede del Área de Cultura, Cine e Identidad Almeriense de la Diputación de Almería en la plaza Bendicho s/n (Almería). Si este trabajo hubiese sido presentado en el Certamen Internacional de Cortometrajes 'Almería en corto' en la actual edición o en la anterior, no será necesario enviarla con la inscripción.
El plazo de inscripción comienza el 7 de agosto y finaliza el 10 de octubre de 2025.
PREMIOS:
1. Primer premio: 1.500€ y trofeo.
2. Segundo premio: 800€ y trofeo.
Tutor del Maratón:
En la fase inicial de este concurso, en la que los participantes desarrollarán el guion del cortometraje, contarán con el apoyo de este reconocido guionista y director de cine. En los últimos años contamos con la presencia de Pablo Berger, nominado al Oscar en la categoría de animación en 2023.
En breve se comunicará quién será el docente del taller de guion previsto.

The purpose of this call is to carry out (script, filming, and editing) a short film in the province of Almería by a work team, with speed and spontaneity, demonstrating talent and creativity.
Residents or those born in the province of Almería, of legal age and who have directed an audiovisual work, may participate. TEAMS THAT HAVE WON THE FIRST PRIZE IN ANY OF THE PREVIOUS THREE EDITIONS OF THIS ACTIVITY MAY NOT PARTICIPATE, unless the director is a different person from those in the editions in which the prize was won.
Registration will be carried out by the person who directed the audiovisual work. This registration can only be done through an online form and must be accompanied by an audiovisual work in digital streaming format or via a file transfer platform, or by delivering, before 2:00 p.m. on October 10, 2025, a DVD or similar digital medium to the 1st floor of the headquarters of the Department of Culture, Cinema and Almerian Identity of the Provincial Council of Almería, in Plaza Bendicho s/n (Almería). If this work had been submitted to the 'Almería en corto' International Short Film Competition in the current or previous edition, it will not be necessary to send it with the registration.
The registration period begins on August 7 and ends on October 10, 2025.
AWARDS:

Marathon Tutor:
In the initial phase of this competition, in which participants will develop the script for the short film, they will have the support of this renowned screenwriter and film director. In recent years, we have had the presence of Pablo Berger, nominated for an Oscar in the animation category in 2023.
