En FICAL seguimos apostando por la música y por disfrutar de los clásicos del cine mudo en pantalla
grande con una banda sonora de lujo al piano. De nuevo creamos una experiencia inolvidable que nos remonta a los
orígenes del cinematógrafo y que recorre diferentes municipios almerienses.
En esta ocasión, Pablo Mazuecos pondrá la banda sonora a tres propuestas muy diferentes. La
selección de películas comienza, ni más ni menos, con Viaje a la Luna del gran George
Méliès, considerada la primera película de ciencia ficción de la historia, y
también el primer éxito mundial en taquilla.
También en el ciclo, retomamos de nuevo este año a grandes del género que tienen que
conocer las generaciones de nuestra época, como el gran Charlie Chaplin, con una película muy
divertida que se desarrolla en un balneario, La cura.
Por último, también con humor y poniendo de manifiesto el talento de los actores del cine
mudo, tenemos al gran Buster Keaton, con Una semana. La historia trata sobre una pareja de recién casados que
reciben un muy curioso regalo.
At FICAL, we are continuing our commitment to music and to enjoying silent
film classics on the big screen with a luxurious piano soundtrack. Once again, we will be creating an
unforgettable experience to take us back to the origins of cinematography while travelling through different
municipalities in Almeria.
On this occasion, Pablo Mazuecos will provide the soundtrack for three very
different films. The selection of films begins with none other than A Trip to the Moon by the great George
Méliès, considered the first science fiction film in history and also the first box office hit
worldwide.
Also in the cycle, once again this year we are returning to the greats of the
genre that the generations of our time need to know, such as the great Charlie Chaplin, with a very funny film
set in a spa, The Cure.
Finally, also with humour and highlighting the talent of silent film actors,
we have the great Buster Keaton with One Week. The story is about a newlywed couple who receive a very curious
gift.

Comenzó su carrera profesional en Almería. Pianista versátil, lo
ha llevado a estilos que van desde la música clásica al jazz y la
música creativa. Fundador de la Fundación Indaliana para la
Música y las Artes, más conocida como Clasijazz. Actualmente dirige
diferentes big bands, es intérprete activo de distintas agrupaciones
musicales e imparte clases en el Real Conservatorio de Música de
Almería.
He began his professional career in Almería. A versatile pianist, he has gone
through styles ranging from classical music to jazz and creative music. Founder of
the Fundación Indaliana para la Música y las Artes, better known as
Clasijazz. He currently conducts different big bands, is an active performer in
different musical groups and teaches at the Royal Conservatory of Music in
Almeria.

At an exclusive health spa, a variety of guests arrive seeking rest and recovery.
Among them is Charlie, determined to get cured — though he brings along a trunk full
